EVENT DATE: Wednesday 21st January to Sunday 25th January 2009.
The Race: The event is a UCI 2.2 event. The race will be stage as teams event. All New Zealand riders will be given the opportunity to create their own teams.
Overseas and New Zealand riders who enter as individuals will be place in a team.
Riders Entry Fee is of NZ$450, this includes;
Accommodation; Four night’s accommodation including bed, breakfast and dinner. Accommodation starts Wednesday 21st January 2009, 12 noon until Sunday 25th January 2009 am. Unless prior arrangements with the Race Director, all riders to move out of the hotel on Sunday 25 January 2009 by 10.00am.
Team Managers New Zealand teams; We encourage all teams to have a team manager. In order to help riders, we will charge all teams managers ONLY a fee of $200 for the four night's accommodation providing that the team manager is entered in a team.
Overseas Teams: To be able to take part in the event, overseas riders must arrive in Wellington on Tuesday 20th January. All overseas participants will be pick up from the Wellington airport.
Extra accommodation: Any extra nights at cost of NZ$110 per person, this includes bed, dinner and breakfasts. This must be book with the Race Director ASAP.
Supporters, family etc: Any supporter or member of your family that wish to stay at the hotel, they must book their accommodation with the Race Director. Their cost is of NZ$400 and includes four night’s accommodation as from Wednesday 21th January, noon until Sunday 25th January 2009 am.
Registration; Registration will be at the Angus Inn Hotel on Wednesday 21st January 2009 from 9.00am until 12.00noon.
Transport: Transport will be provided to all riders to and from stages.
Information regarding Teams Sponsorship
As organisers of the Trust House Cycle Classic, we endeavour to sell Naming Rights for all teams in the event and provide all riders with race clothing. The only exemption will be for Trade Teams registered under the UCI rules.
If any rider that has a company/sponsor and wishes to invest in Naming Rights for his team, he should contact the Race Director in the first instance. No rider will be allowed to enter any agreement with any sponsor regarding team sponsorship without previously discussing this with the Race Director.
The wearing of any other race clothing, other than that provided by the Race Director for the Trust House Cycle Classic is prohibited.
There is a limited number for New Zealand riders in the race, acceptance will be on "first in, first served" basis.
